I'm not alone

I'm not alone, I'm by
myself. A thousand images
plague me. And in my solitute,
many voices I hear, some from
the past, most from the present.
I'm not alone, but I walk lonely.
Many faces do torment me. And in
my loneliness, I hear their whispers
some laughing, others whimpering.
I'm not alone, I'm desolated. Many
footprints lead straight to me.
And in my desert I swallow all their
sorrows. I'm not alone, I have my solace.
In crowded streets, I follow masses.
And in them I find my spirit. And
without them I'd be alone.
