Into the siren wilds Climbed the vagabond madrigal he Ever seeking for one true eternal spring Head high staring down the sun Eyes burning addiction heralds on Assuages then burns black living eye Reeling blind maddened downward fall Torn pieces he awaits sols burning fate [This message has been edited by ATelamon (edited 02-10-2001).] |

very well done.. impressive imagery and vocabulary choices. unique presentation of acrostic form Heaven bound on wings of love, there's so much that you can rise above. I surrender heart and soul, sacrificed to a higher goal. ~DepechMode~ |

I thank you both. Your words are very kind and highly appreciated. AT While it may be true that "No man is an island..." You must admit there are some damn big peninsulas out there. |

"staring down the sun" brings this poem to life. A nicely written piece ~ thank you. Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |

ice hearts freeze in moonswept breeze while passions are in drift. your lines entwine 'til hearts will cease, and others soon will lift. ice hearts ice hearts so cold, on shores of freezing wamth.... hope yours endures..... thanks for the inspiration... hope you don't mind my spontaneous verse as a reply.... your poem was very well written and had important messages woven in the stanzas and lyrical quality of it.... thank you for the read |

Thanks to all. Your comments are quite kind. As for the spontaneous verse: I really like that. I do much the same. And it is very pleasant to inspire any words. Thanks again. While it may be true that "No man is an island..." You must admit there are some extremely large peninsulas out there. |
