Rhythm Of Tears Surrounded by suitors at the February ball, they refuse to dance with me, yet, laugh when I fall, I sway, I smile during this dull serenade, still unfit for romance in fate's masquerade, heartlessly treated as if I don't exist, my worth diminishes in Valentine mist, the stench of misery is masked by perfume, a damaged soul is covered by pathetic costume, endlessly scorned, so many times betrayed, I had so much to give of myself, now passion dies enslaved, I wander blind in the youth of my years, defeat marches to this rhythm of tears *By Melissa Honeybee* The beauty of poetry gives my soul wings to fly free within dreams ~Melissa P. I had so much to give of myself, now passion dies enslaved, lost in the youth of my years, defeat marches to this rhythm of tears ================= oh Meliss...darlin ya break my heart.. and YOU have so much to give... and anyone who can write with this much expression has not lost her passion either.. trust me sweetie... you're gifted and graceful. but I do so understand and relate to these feeling... and ya know....I have ALWAYS thought this Valentines holiday was over-rated ...  take care sweet poet jm Heaven bound on wings of love, there's so much that you can rise above.
