Of Heart

Invite me to your fantasy
Dinner just for two.
Wearing manners, Sunday's best
No swearing, just for you.

Keep the candles, low in light
To hide me in your dreams.
Shadows playing on the walls
In silhouette-like themes.

For you I've dressed, my finest silks
Today in color, red.
Sipping wine across from you
As thoughts have entered head.

Music starts off nice and slow
Hand reaches out to mine.
Leads me gently, arms around
I cling to you like vine.

Dance my mind, the sihouettes
Reruns of shadows there.
I place my hands to touch your face
But end up touching air.

Glide my way back to my seat
Enjoy my meal alone.
Somewhere in the back of mind
Of lips, of want, have grown.

Accustomed now to fantasy
With Valentine, desired.
Closing eyes to taste your kiss
That in my heart, stays fired.
