Snuggled and protective,
Inside warm cocoon,
Woven in silk and inventive,
Dreaming under the moon,

Dreaming of only the past,
Feeding off an old life,
Unsure of how long it will last,
Away from everyone, shutting out light,

Lonely of living here,
Darkness your only friend,
Dreams of what once were,
Living one step closer to end,

Pushing your way out,
Leaving the shadows,
Two beauiful wings now,
To fly over meadows.

~Maria~

Such comfort in the nourishment of the cocoon -
giving strenghth for the awaited flight.

Fly - soar !

How did this slip past me, I enjoyed every line.

Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning.
