Harken, for the cupids will be singing
Embrace the heavens in all it’s glory
Gather round eternity’s thanksgiving

Silken angel ribbons scarf the dreaming
Labile laces mending quivered heartstrings
Harken, for the cupids will be singing

Come hither in cupids symphony
Let Thou loving one fulfill our dreams
Gather round eternity’s thanksgiving

Out on lovers belvedere we will be
Keep wishes gate ajar, let love speak
Harken, for the cupids will be singing

Cupid, lift your bow high, light and airy
To my divine valentine, love I bring
Gather round eternity’s thanksgiving

Thitherto, I shall offer my blessings
To my cupid, showing me my darling
Gather round eternity’s thanksgiving
Harken, for the cupids will be singing

I like this, using a classical form to celebrate classical images. I enjoyed the read.
