The Truth Of Me The answers to the questions Are they what you want to hear? Or is it actually the questions Are they what you really fear? You ask me to tell the truth But I’ve told you I don’t lie And I’ve said it oh so often That I just think I might die You tell me of your answers But the questions aren’t right These answers are your answers They seek out only your night You want the truth do you? So listen to what I do say I’ve said the truth yet again You don’t believe me anyway How many times can I cry? Still I hear the need of more Over and often words call Until my heart shuts her door Truth is truth it’s not a lie I am me and I’m always true No more asking me for truth If anyone lies it’s not me it’s you Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |

Too many times the questions are designed for the asker to receive only the expected answers. To such, honesty is always a surprise. Words of charged emotion. Well said AT |

Marsha~ I thought for a moment this was Beverley ... perhaps ??? 'You want the truth do you? So listen to what I do say I’ve said the truth yet again You don’t believe me anyway",?i> My grandmother told me - 'You only need say the truth ONCE ... and it shall stand beyond all refute.' *Hugs* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Sven dear heart even I have weeks when all is not as wonderful as it should be. This was some of the less enlightening parts from the past. Thank you love those who know me also know I don't lie, it's never worth it. But sometimes the truth is not the answer they want. (How deep is that?) Hopefully now I've said I've stated that I am not walking that road again, I won't be asked to. Thank you always for your support Take care as always love Mushy Charisma love thank you truly that is sooooo true. Take care as always Mushy AT thank you to, I do appreciate it Take care Mushy Margie girl, this was definitely a Beverley poem, some really painful stuff this week, but fingers crossed it has now gone. Well, you know what I am, there's always a silver lining, and the silver lining is, that this has had it's line drawn firmly under it. Thank you love as always and the other advantage is, I get to use Bev de Bump. love ya dear heart take care Mushy And while thy willing soul transpires At every pore with instant fire Andrew Marvell 1621-1678 |
