I’m Dammed

Tell me the truth it’s not very hard to do
And so I repeat again my truth to you
I explain once more that I don’t ever lie
That I have told you my truth and I cry
For I’m dammed if I say the words are true
And then I’m dammed again if I lie to you

Tell me once again that you don’t cheat
And I say the truth and again I repeat
Once more I get on this treadmill to say
That I have truth here it’s my only way
For I’m dammed whatever words I use
And I’m dammed again if I silently refuse

Tell me when did you throw love out
And I say again that truth is here about
Over and again I try to soothe your heart
But it seems to be tearing my soul apart
For I’m dammed by you with no trial
And I’m dammed again with this bile

Tell me why you are doing this to me
And I say again that truth will ever be
Back then I go to the beginning of this
When love was held in your tender kiss
For I’m dammed for believing you care
And I’m dammed for wanting loves share

Tell me you say and I can’t bare any more
And I want to run and slam hearts door
But I stay because I truly believe in you
I believe still that love will see us through
For I’m dammed for walking into all this

Heartwrenching...yet so able to relate to. *HUGS* I wish i could have written something like that when i experienced a similar pain.

Abergail love, thank you, it's one of those times, that no matter how often you say I'm telling the truth you're not believed. I will get there, obviously not in one piece if this war of attrition continues. But I'll come through.
