So tired, oh so tired. Weak with the fatigue of life. Crushed under the weight of the world. Oh to see only the starless void of the night. Stars hide your hideous brilliance. Oh to see only the abyss behind the shutters to my world. Sweet, sweet respite. Envelop me in your entangling arms. Shining sun extinguish your repugnant warmth. Let me drown in the eve's soul emancipating silence. "Close your eyes, and you'll see. Cover your ears, and you'll hear." |

SecretWhisper~ I liked the invitation to slumber in this line - 'Let me drown in the eve's soul emancipating silence.' ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
