This is about patience and respect and being sensitive and kind and how so many times we just aren't. Knowing You I there's a lesson here to be learned and acted on or to be ignored I cannot imagine, were it me, going on - where would I get that kind of strength from. Yet here you are. As soft as powder I dare not touch or blow or breath ______________ II how is it delicate as you are you remain so when thought alone must slice memory burn like dry ice How is it you laugh, you smile and are so nice - to everyone even me, even now _______________ III I feel when I think of you see your smile taste your kiss - so gentle Ah me - that I even think of me, Can even think of what I did Now knowing what was done to you How could I have been so cruel. if it is true that the world talks toomuch then let us all keep quiet and hear the eloquence of silence - Richard Ntiru [This message has been edited by Mendy (edited 02-05-2001).] |

Hi Mendy, We all have times when we feel "cruel" and something else takes over. I can relate to this poem, I like the way you formatted it....very nice and professional! "I walked beside the evening sea and dreamed a dream that could not be." George William Curtis |

this is very well done. . . almost like reading it from a book. . . excellent thoughts. . . -------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
