My Angel, who has no wings,
A being formed by Gods own hand
And nourished upon ambrosia, is possessed by none.

Angel,
My Angel, who has no wings,
Moves seraphic around her principality;
A kingdom built and maintained, by her imaginative hand.

Angel,
My Angel, who has no wings,
Your course steered by maps of your invention,
Why is it this path, your divine feet choose to tread?

Angel,
My Angel, who has no wings,
You transfix all caught in your glorious gaze,
What melody is it your heavenly voice so beautifully sings?

Angel,
My Angel, who has no wings,
Are you learning, teasing, or deceitful?
Please tell me, where are your halo and celestial wings?
