Follow me down to the stairs of the world follow me down to the hole See what the world has made of itself the sacrifices we all call The sweet surrender victory that we push to our hearts able might Is all of our souls loosing their faith as the Gods laugh at us now. See how the daughter of america's dream spits at the fame that she won How she wants to be free from the pain how she wants to give up She says on the phone that laughing again as the tears drop from her cheeks Is'nt she happy to feel again or the pleasure of missery. Here is the son of capitialist pride the votes he bought with his blood Promising he would do good again as he swallowed another few drugs The words he says are the ones on the page they mean nothing to him anymore He falls into his oblivion stage so he can live once more. Follow me down to the stairs of the world see how the stars fade away How easy it is to collapse on ourselves when we want the pain to fade What ever happend to our self sanity did all just end in a joke Or is this the new world tragedy we all just live in our hopes. |

This day and age is disappointing and heartbreaking... but we must not give up or give in to the depression and join the masses...let's be the few shining souls at the end of the tunnel and set the example of happiness...
