The Spell of My Absence Each minute creates another gift soft hands mapping a course to be trailed over and again Thirsty lungs swell by the score another entry made in the tally of ''often kisses'' How will it be my love when the four stars carry me away Will you sit silent in the spell of my absence And with this new birth to your fingertips find a greater beauty than ever known before my fingers trace the path from lips to cheek to hair and ... heart remembers the heat ... it lingers still ... sheets, once tangled 'round two now envelope me in the tenderness of a long awaited love vanilla candles, unlit, somehow still reflect my unleashing, within your arms and though, four stars have taken flight, I only need to close my eyes ... inhale the dew drops left by "often kisses" and I am there ... once more.
