The throb of it beating, veins pulsing with fire: a thought being born - pushing larger and higher! Then timidness creeping in self-induced fear: "A writer? Ridiculous! No one will care." So you bury its heart like potato-peel scraps, or tie it in layers of brown-paper wrap. No more! Let it loose! Set its eloquence free! Give it threads of existence, let everyone see! Give a voice to its need, let it whisper or cry; give it space to expand - give it wings - Let It Fly! [This message has been edited by laryalee (edited 02-03-2001).] |

This is terrific, Lary. I have some good friends who are uncomfortable about showing what they write to other people because they are afraid it won't be good enough, and others who won't even try to write. Wish we could hire you for a rally. This is very well said. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |

Yes, how perfectly marvelous. I eat potato chips often while I write...... "I walked beside the evening sea and dreamed a dream that could not be." George William Curtis |
