Build the day slowly Glimmer by gleam Let all life shimmer Creating the dream Create slow the daylight Oh brother Sun Bask in the love-light Magnificent one! Build on the sunlight By brick and by tile Looking to one light That lives for your smile You sister is watching As you build the day, slow Your glory is catching Her face is aglow So build the day slowly Let dawn extend Your wonder is holy Without beginning or end Build day with patience Creating with power A minute of silence That last's for an hour. O brother Sun! Build day anew But make it start slowly, I'm looking to you. Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life. Patty Hansen. This is very pretty, Kethry. I haven't read much of your work, but will be looking for more. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |
