Here we are together The skies begin to pour Me, feeling lost in love You, not so sure We're lying close together You invited me to talk We shared our fears, and shed some tears While lying in the dark You reach to dry my tears Your fingertips graze my skin I search your eyes, you soul to see If you might let me in I see a distant twinkling That wasn't there before Anticipation runs through me The door is now ajar You reach for me, I reach for you Now I'm alive again Then suddenly you take my hand And this is where we begin |
