You lean casually against the yesterday's lamppost unchanged sexy, gorgeous and as appealing as ever. I know each step hurts as I pass by the fact that you aren't and will never be mine. If my head weren't in the clouds most days, I could avoid all this and just find another street to walk down, but as of yet, I haven't found a better view. And even though each step hurts our hearts, sometimes we don't really want to find another street to travel. Tammy |

Reading this I felt a rush...I think it was the way the words were moving along, it read itself to ME....That's a great feeling...but the message is too sad. "I walked beside the evening sea And dreamed a dream that could not be." George William Curtis |

Sometimes there simply isn't a better view. *S* Great poem... I identify all too well. *S* (But yanno... I do remember telling you to be careful about using terms like "cracked up" when they could so easily be applied to our mental condition! LOL) |

I really feel the ending of this poem. It can be hard to let go, even when you know it's hopeless. Very nicely said! To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |

Well I dont believe I have the talent as you; therefore I shall offer no expertise on this piece considering it doesnt seem to be at fault. I loved the ending. I dont think that letting go is always the best thing to do, escpecially if theres a scene to glance upon. Thanks for the read! -Jeremy Raulinaitis "I believe that man will not merely endure: he will prevail. -William Faulkner (Noble Prize Speech.) |
