God touched the moon and felt it sigh, a silent heave, an ageless cry; a teardrop rolled across the sky and crystalized before it fell; a snowflake kissed a seedling shell imprisoned under winter's spell; when summer paused on zenith high, a flower opened prism'd eye; I touched its bloom - and felt it sigh. |

This is so lovely! I really like the way you brought it full-circle from God's touch/moon's sigh to your touch/bloom's sigh. And you made it look easy, too, which I'm very sure it wasn't. Bump to the top for you. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |

OH MY.. this is exquisite... what a stunning gem of a poem a jewel set in imagery and rhyme ... this is a sigh on high... and one of those poems that makes me say .. I wish I had wrote this wonderful writing!! If my slight Muse do please these curious days ... The pain be mine ... but thine shall be the praise. ~Shakespeare~ |
