Smack! Hit in the head by some bubble mouthed little freak of nature asking the questions of the millenium nightmare gone south this season though folloeing his heretic footsteps softly blending in the sand. Dumb basterd actually belives that heaven is a door held open by the shaky palm of St. Peter who reads your scripture in derelict text forgetting that once in a while you had to be human. Laughing at his excuses as the tears stream my face I get up to take aim stopping short of rapture for in seeing him I see me and everyone of us trying to put it straight. So what of your beliefs if you just want a second chance that falls short making triumph a bitter and somewhat agonizing pill to force down your rightous foul throat. And in the end we all just can't give in to falling on our asses looking up again to see shading the Sun the smile we would die for the whipered content we love and the sweet carress of lips. |

hmmm. . .what's going on here? i can't see exactly where your finger is pointing. we have references to religion (st. peter), and an apparent struggle between belief systems. also, the feeling of being the victim of zeal, all wrapped up with a statement of triumph (can't give in to falling on our asses) and love? oh well. road maps to the soul aren't necessary i suppose. i love the flow and energy of this, though. |
