Weeping Tree

Weeping tree on lake
caress gently wave of life
cascade of green leaves
food and shelters will be found
fortitude of nature's grace

This is perfection in it's simplicity, Charisma, great work and a beautiful layout!

They are nice to lie under too but I bet you knew that.  This was a lovely Tanka my friend.  You present the beauties of life and nature to us in superb fashion so often that I am constantly amazed.  Don't stop ever.

Charisma~
This is so lovely.

And in the willows whisper
Sometimes a joy is found
Among the weeping branches
That gently touch the ground
Sweeping across a heartfelt sigh
Offering nature's beauty a nest
to tiny thoughts that fly

Your words swept across my heart.
Thank you for the gentle portrayal.

(smiles) Awwwwwww, I agree, weeping willows always make me smile and when I see how far their roots and leaves go, I always marvel over how it brings shelter to so much of nature such as birds and flowers and butterflies! (kiss on cheek) This is another beautiful gem from your heart, sweet friend, I am so happy to be finding so many of your wonderful poems in these archives, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Charisma, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
