Football Dislikes Me

I can't see the ball for the bodies that fall
upon it and cover what cameras can't show.
To follow the movements, I couldn't at all.
Football dislikes me, my eyes are too slow.

Last night I found myself watching THE GAME
explaining to sister in law all that was termed.
I screamed as I called out each players name...
As downs became firsts and the goals were confirmed.

How funny that finally I understand
for years what I hated, when watching with him.
Football, Go Ravens, you've taken command.
I think the dislike now was only a whim....

Seriously I enjoyed it so much last night...
was surprised that I even remembered what
all the plays meant...I couldn't wait to catch the second half
on the radio on my ride home...and of course being born in Baltimore...well

Sy...was just having a thought about football...and really how much I enjoyed it last night, hated the commentators but enjoyed the game.

I dont know a thing about football..and I dont care to know haa...I have a mental block when it comes to it haa...I like other sports though..glad you had a good time HUGS

I loved this...I was always a football fan, though...but as a SAINTS football fan...the title particularly amused me...would love to watch a game with you, you'd laugh a LOT...I go completely nuts. And? Sports bars are a lot of fun...too...I was the only woman one night and they loved me once they knew I knew what a nickel defense was...*wink*
