Frozen Light I never thought it likely dear Light could stop like a frozen gear. To freeze it, to a non exist To store it, for a new enlist. But its been done much to my awe They stop it dead to start once more. A truth I've learned symbolicly With pen and ink in poetry. A truth I once was blinded to A truth I searched and never knew. A truth that opened up a way To keep you in my heart to stay. No longer do I tear your loss No longer do I bare that cross. But understand the way of light The start and stop of souls in flight. To most you are beyond my say But I awake you every day. |

What a marvelous way you have found to stop time and light, to hold in remembrance a loved one! I will have to read more of your work. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |

"But understand the way of light The start and stop of souls in flight." Sy--I like this muchly. These lines especially speak to me. Very nicely penned. take care, Poeminister "Awaiting welcome light of glory's gold, I search the night to fan salvation's spark." --Claire Brown Bower < !signature--> [This message has been edited by Poeminister (edited 01-28-2001).] |
