I can still smell your perfume see your red hair on my pillow feel how your hands held mine but that was long ago now all I smell is dirt I only see wilted flowers I feel the words carved in granite the date that you died will this ever pass the feeling, the loss, the ache the memories I am tired |

If ever a poem I can relate to this would be one of them....brings many memories back... Greeneyes "Within you I lose myself Without you I find myself Wanting to be lost again." -Unknown |

James... I never know what I'm going to find when I open your work... You might entertain me... You might bring me to tears... All I know is that I'll like it... Every time.. |

A hushed wow. A funny thing - one of my most recent poems ended with the line 'I am tired' also. In your case - it's a powerful end to your poem. Thanks for the read - enjoyed muchly... K [This message has been edited by Severn (edited 12-03-2000).] |

This was written for the sad passing I read about earlier this week- I had no personal way to say I am sorry so I wrote this to express how I might feel- but could never understand without going through it |
