Softly I call you feel the whisper of your reply Touched by your smile and wondering why Each mannerism seen memorized with pain knowing you go back to her forever to remain Your eyes close to mine so your soul I cannot see Slowly, ever slowly you draw away from me Goodbye is such a sad word so you’ll not hear it today I’ll cry it out in my sleep after you’ve gone away. |

PdV....nice to see you writing again.... Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |

I could so relate to this...I'll keep this one in my heart. I keep looking for that "happy place" to keep the memory though. Thank you for sharing this one. |

Beautiful but sad, deVine one. Sometimes, that is a good rule - never let 'em see you cry. |

Sharon, such a heartbreaking piece... and so beautiful. I can really relate to this situation. If you can't keep anything else, keep your pride. Thanks for posting. "Where there is great love there are always miracles" -Cather "Love heals everything, and love is all there is"- Zukav |

I think you must have been peeking into my heart when you were writing this. ABSOLUTELY beautifully sad Look within the heart of a poet, and you will see a reflection of their soul. |

PdV...this is so softly sad...and 'deers right...dont let 'em see you cry when you are hurt. Ignore those who would clip your wings...fly ever upward...even if it means scorched wings |

*sigh*(bittersweet) yes...very sad Sharon... so much emotion found in this soft whisper its beauty is in its melancholy sincerity expressed so well take care jm I looked into the sky for my anthem The words and music came through But words and music can never touch the beauty that I've seen Looking into you |

I've written this too often myself. "Glory remains unaware of my neglected dwelling where alone I sing my tearful song which has charms only for me." |
