December And Isaiah December and Isaiah were A different sort of pair One reading from the New York Times One figuring out what to wear Neither of them spoke The language the other one did Always did one invoke Terror and the other one hid For them to get together Took a miracle from up above But neither could agree When push comes to shove And when December lost Her right to bear Isaiah flipped out and kicked her there And an apology was never extracted Sullen moments are too common In households of love and trust Sullen moments are of great relief In a household of no feelings Dinnertime is sometimes All that we have left But dinner with them was always best In the front seat of the car December and Isaiah Never were expected To make it to were They are now But two people who disdain Are always there to blame Each other for the sacrifices Of our future and our past Golden gifts of luscious pleasure Are seen on commercials in front Of Isaiah’s ledger that contains his Memo from his place of work December sees the TV But doesn’t pay attention To the sparkles and the smile Of the beautiful models lie And this is how it is And this is how it is And this is how it is And this is how it is And this is how it is |

This is just too telling...two people not really meant to be? Yet they are they are...and where do they go from here? And this is how it is.....perfect |

Len, what a sad relationship you've painted here. *HuGS* Be well Kethry Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant - Thoreau |
