Love By Starlight Karen Torbiak 2000 She can smell the salt in the air filling her nostrils as she slowly walks up the hill that overlooks the ocean She breaths deeply and sighs with pleasure as the fresh breeze fills her lungs leaving her with a feeling of serenity This is her favorite place to come where she can rest and lose herself in contemplation of the world around her It is late evening and all is wrapped in the silence and darkness of a star filled sky casting just the smallest amount of light She has no need of a moon this dark night as she finds her way guided only by a brilliant sky of starlight As she nears the the top of the cliff high above the crashing surf she notices a shadow sitting at the top Something deep within her comes to life as she feels without really knowing this is a man who will share this night With complete trust born of her spirit she moves forward and takes her place at his side feeling this is where she belongs The silence of the night enfolds them with just the crashing of the surf far below on the rocks to break the serenity He moves closer to her side gently placing his arm over her shoulders and drawing her close into his side They lean with comfort against each other sharing the beauty and gentleness of a soft, warm night of Love By Starlight Love I leave with you my friend whether it be in your life or of yet the essense of your dreams. http://path2riches.com |

Startime, You have painted a lovely vision here. Wonderful writing. Soft and sweet! ![]() LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
