I want to love I want to love like in the fairy tales All those wonderful fairy tales The ones that my mother use to read to me Sitting there so young and innocent I wanted to be the one The one to find the prince The one to be the damsel I wanted that love I wanted that fairy tale love I wanted someone to sweep me away To wake me with a kiss To caress my face To kiss my brow I want that kind of love That fairy tale love That love that doesn't seem to exsist I want to have the man on the horse carry me away Far away into the sunset I want to live happily ever after I want that special love that you can only get in dreams I want that fairy tale love I want to open a book one day and it is about me and my lover The Knight in shining armor is mine The castle on the hill is ours The feeling of never losing is there I want that love I want that fairy tale love I want to feel that everything is perfect Just once in life I want to live in faith flying to the wind No worries No hurt No anger Just once Just once I want that love I want that fairy tale love Can you help me find it? I can help you find it in the beauty of your words and in the depths of your imagination. *sigh* this poem is filled with the deep yearning of having love in your life. This is a feeling I too understand for the heart of this romantic ever searches for a man who can dream with me. *sigh* Yes, I understand your yearning, dear one, and pray your heart is filled someday as you lay in quiet serenity within the arms of a man who loves you. I want all those things too, I am so afraid it is impossible. But that little bit of hope hangs on, (like the yellow cat fur on my black clothes-representative of something good, yet causing all kinds of trouble) I wrote a poem some time ago, on this same theme. I think Disney hurt us in ways we can never prove. Cause no one ever quite matches up to the hopes we had. Sigh..and sigh.. Well I'm glad to know there is another lonely princess out there thinking like this, do you think someday yet we may be rescued? Well, after digressing that much, let me say, I liked your poem a lot! Thank you all so much for reading this.. SEA, Thank you so much fdr that wish for me to find Mr. Right. I'll just have to keep looking. ethome- Thank you for the wonderful thought. I never knew that my words could be so moving. I will hold true to my words, thoughts and dreams and know that anything is possible. Startime- I hope that your quest ends up better than mine. Where ever love like that is it will fall in my lap and I'm sure of that. I just hope the same happens to you. Catalinamoon- One day we will both be swep off of our feet. That Knight in Shining Armor will ride through the woods and save me from the dragon. I still have hope in that. You keep the hope in that too. Thank you all again.
