Was I too intense? did I scare you off? did my neck breathing not relent? was it all pretense! did I make you cry? or cause you to curse? or breathe a weary sigh at my metered verse! have you been too busy, to have a thought for me? do I make you dizzy? or make you want to run and scream? did we have something good, or was it all a sham? was our poetry all in mood? or was it fine elan? did we not connect? did the feeling go is it just that you're so wrecked you can't take this anymore! and I am wondering was it all my fault did I expect too much from poetry gestalt. Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant - Thoreau |

Very pointed questions Kethry! I know most people have asked them selves these questions one time or another...I really like how you put them into verse and made them come alive....ethome |

LOL! I don't think you're the type to scare someone off, Kethry, rather the type to make someone want MORE of you! Wouldn't it be nice to have a tv screen to view the lives of anyone we want? Then we could look into their days and see what all consists of, what their time is spent doing, what their obligations are and, perhaps, we would be more forgiving if we don't feel we are getting the attention we want...well, it's a thought... |
