Liz has given me so much, and I wanted to give her something during this hard time. I decided that the best thing I could give her is my 2000th post. Liz, this is for you, although it hardly does you justice. Too cold for relief Too warm for snow The rain pounds down It’s hard to go The sky devoid of light The earth devoid of life Difficult to move in a world so full of strife Cold Raindrops Fall Mixing With Tears From Being Without You After All These Years The wind begins to blow Freezing to the core It’s hard realizing That you aren’t here anymore And then, for an instant The sun breaks through I smile, feeling the warmth That always came from you I feel loving peace Peeking through the pain Never again will you have to feel The cold November rain < !signature--> "Where there is great love there are always miracles" -Cather "Love heals everything, and love is all there is"- Zukav [This message has been edited by LoveBug (edited 11-29-2000).] |
