Is this snow or is gravity pulling stars down? Nowadays, it is hard to distinguish blizzards from Armageddons and the closer one kneels toward the ground the sharper are the resounding footsteps. “All in attendance?!” We arch our necks to look up at the teacher, but if only one could reach and pull open the curtain than maybe we’d all look higher and see the creature staring back at us from the heavens. I’m certain that once the bell tolls and the school day is finally over, we will forget the lesson, but not each other. But as time approaches, the time creeps slower... to allow me to say “good-bye,” and walk towards my Father. < !signature--> Check out my poetry here: http://cafepoetry.com/stage1/andrey_kneller.htm#My%20Hamlet [This message has been edited by Master (edited 11-28-2000).] |
