Why does my heart ponder
whenever I think of you?
I guess the reason
my mind wanders
is for the same reason too

Why do I feel your hand in mine
as I walk alone in the park?
the same reason I feel your lips
at night alone in the dark

Maybe I should forget you
and in my heart be alone
maybe I should let my heart
turn into a cemetery stone..

Maybe I should release
my feelings in the wind
or drown them in the Sea
and lock my heart forever
but in my hand..a coral key.

I know this one, I think...trying to control the heart..whew...

while I understand the inclination, I never mastered the ability myself.

Hugs lady. and thank you for the read and ponder...

Victoria,
Tis' lonely out there I feel. Chin up and smile, the Angels are there.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

Doesn't sound to me like you have much of a choice, Victoria. You may be stuck with the feeling for a while....

I tried locking my heart away, didn't work for me either! Wonderfully done Victoria!

I'm glad I caught this on pages back because I'd like to keep this in library to read and look back...

You know Victoria, this is such a softly written and tender poem of heart I really enjoyed it and I thank you for the sharing...
