Watching the tide of scenarios lap against the shores of my mind
I sit and try to remember a different moment in time
When were you not in my heart, in my conscious, in my soul
Believe it or not I’m quite aware of this feeling inside me, even if I’m only 21 years old

Love is what I feel, nothing more nothing less
Will you be in my life, allow me your heart to caress
The future ahead of us is not written in stone
But if we take up the pen together it may have in store us in a place called home

I still find it hard to think of a time when your screen name wasn’t there
But the past matters not, your being here is what brings me to care
Though the miles between us may be great and long
