"Twilight's  Arrival"

As copper light upon her dances
gifting gold to autumn hair
And music, still as breath, begins
to swathe about her, fragile there

Approaching, lashes silken shadows
skin the hue of moonlight's mask
Fragrant flood of season's scent
intoxicates the fullest flask

And though she is of in-between
her moments, soft but fleeting few
In secret vow a promise kept
tomorrow she returns  to you

With a promise of her return in the morrow, how could it not be the product of a smile for him.  Lovely write from you once again and so nice to be treated to one of you beautiful verses today.

Especially loved the setting in the night as night time tends to lend some very special moments of reflection for me.

Copper, brown and white in shadows,
Watching, glance and come tomorrow,
I will be here watching,
I will wait your coming,
Be the bright and pass my window.

Rainydays,

this...
Approaching, lashes silken shadows
skin the hue of moonlight's mask
Fragrant flood of season's scent
intoxicates the fullest flask
...is magic

Write on
