Angels They Are There ~~Daniel J D~~ Ever seen a child cry And someone making the child smile Ever seen an old person lonely And someone carrying their wares Ever seen a heartbroken person And someone listening to their every word Ever seen a near accident And someone yelling to look out Ever seen a new baby just born And someone fighting to get the baby to breathe Ever seen a widowed in tears And someone putting an arm around them Ever seen a beggar hungry And someone giving them alms Ever seen a mother cry And someone bringing their missing child home They are there, they are everywhere Angels, you see them anywhere Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love (Daniel J D) |

Daniel, some have claimed I am an angel...it's a nice feeling, but nicer is the feeling of having your own angels, which I do...a couple very special people that have guided my way. This is very prominant in my life right now as I am going in a totally different direction than I began about 7 months ago. Now I am alone, but not really  |

Daniel, Angels are everywhere, I absolutely believe in them, they are as real as the sun. And they answer prayers too I believe. Still you know me I'm a hopeless romantic. Congratulations on 500 posts. yes, an angel is spectacular because why? Because they are without fear, reduce fear, give light, hold back the dark, help us write poetry, save children, everything you said. They can't die, and they remind us of that God said we are "created a little lower than the angels" sounds good to me! Daniel, this is a lovely poem, and yes I believe there are angels all around, some we know all our lives that are guardian angels others come and go unaware, holding our hand, kissing our tears, sharing our laughter, just being there. |
