 ~Remembering The Love Of You~ I want to remember the day we met when our eyes thirsted for enlightment, a glimpse of who we were in the deepest part of our hearts I want to look at the river in moonlight, and see your face reflecting in the still water I want to bathe in the water and feel you and the moon on my skin I want to light a fire, see your eyes, and feel them pierce my heart I want to kiss your face and feel tears come to my eyes from the intensity of the love I feel I want to run my fingers through your hair, then remember how it feels when I close my eyes to sleep I want to dance a waltz with you and feel the wind under my feet, lifting my heart off the floor I want to climb mountain trails and feel the pull of gravity on my hand from the feel of yours I want to remember your touch I want to hear you laugh and feel the delight rise in my spirit, from the affinity we share I want to remember the rose I saw you pick from a neighbors yard, from my window sill I peeked the complete joy I felt knowing you cared I want to hear the wish you make when you stand before candles on a cake I want to be your wish come true I want to know if you think of me too Though you are gone forever, I will always remember you this way BloomingRose |
