The drums in my heart resounded so violently Im surprised you didnt comment on them Instead you tenderly placed the ring on my finger, staring intently with firece concentration, sheepish grin on your face Your delightful gesture made me feel as if a warm blanket of tender love has covered my trembling soul protectively Yet even your blanket couldnt muffle those out-of-control drums in my heart They wrecked havoc on me im still surprised you didnt comment on them |
