Something about this time of year Things become a little less clear The wind in the trees whispers of chances missed and roads not taken Friendships lost you once held dear Leaves float down like lonely memories One by one I remember all the things left only half done Like love once missed because of fear And how I regret not opening that door The sun is bright but not warm like a friendship that should be something more Or distant love that has no form The sky is clear but not my mind My heart’s courage hard to find Questions left unanswered… unasked Fall fills my mind of things past Now turning older but still no wiser No courage to demand No faith to ask Another chance slowly drifts into recent past And still the door is shut fast. It is not too late. You can open that door here and make new friends. Enjoyed reading, glad you came to visit on this Thanksgiving holiday. Now that you have opened the door it will stay open to you. |

Raleigh, here is to the encouragement of many warm, enduring relationships to come...and the friendships you will find here in Passions... Welcome... Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |

a belated welcome to passions again, i like the direct way you put things across... the sky is clear but not my mind Another chance slowly drifts into recent past and still the door is shut fast simply written but deeply felt |

this is really beautiful, welcome to passions Look within the heart of a poet, and you will see a reflection of their soul. |
