How can I say good-bye Now that I've loved you so long? Just turn and walk away Like there is nothing wrong? When all the while My world is crumbling around me How do I contain these tears When the pain is just so great? Tell my mind not to think of you My heart not to break? When so many things remind me of you Everywhere I turn I see Tell me how I learn to live again When I lived my life for only you Tell me why things ended up like this Was it something I did or didn't do? The only crime I'm guilty of Is truly loving you And now I've been sentenced to The worst punishment anyone ever knew Forced to live life without you And it's the highest price I'll ever pay *************************************** Darling, This all started out so innocently and we chose to pursue it farther. I think we both knew how it would end but were afraid to admit it to ourselves, much less each other. We both new up front the situation that both of us were in but falling in love with you was inevitable. It wasn't my choice to love you, it was my destiny. I'm writing this to say this one thing to you. No matter where life takes us or what roads we find ourselves on I will never regret loving you. I know I got lucky because I had the chance that everyone dreams of and that is to find true unconditional love. Yes, I know you love me and I know that you have certain obligations that you need to fulfill before you can begin to move any further. I am in no way upset with you or angry with you. If anything I am disappointed in myself for putting pressure on you when I promised I never would. I hope that at some point in your life you will find it in your heart to forgive me. In any case I wish you all the best that life has to offer. Your happiness was all I ever wanted. As long as you are happy there's no way that I can't be happy. Remember one thing wherever you may be...I will always love you. In writing this a song comes to mind that describes my feelings perfectly..... "I Will Always Love You" If I should stay I know I would only be in your way So I'll go, but I know I'll think of you each step of the way And I will always love you I will always love you Bittersweet memories are all I have And all I'm taking with me Good-bye, ohh, please don't cry Cause we both know I'm not what you need But I will always love you I will always love you And I hope life will treat you kind And I hope you have all that you ever dreamed of Ohh, I do wish you joy and I wish you happiness But above all this I wish you love (I love you) (I will always love you) |

Sandra, Thank you for the well wishes...I'm sure I'll feel better...eventually  Kathleen, I'm afraid the shine has been dimmed by the cracks that are there now , but I appreciate the gestureGuess I can chalk it up to another lesson learned! |
