SpitFire~
Thank you for your kind remarks.
One of a little set of poeticatures I'm doing
as a gift for someone.
I am pleased to know you enjoyed it.

I always had a special feeling for Marilyn.
IN my mind, she's Norma Jean, still.
I feel very moved by this one, Marge.

Marge this is like a story of her life... a wind up doll, but pretty as a ballerina. Sad life she lead.
Good poem.

Very creative and true Marge! Her life was filled with beauty and great tragedy and your poem is a well expressed portrait of that.  I feel that many of the actresses of that time were "pretty ballerinas and wind-up dolls" as well, especially Judy Garland

Take care,
Melissa

Kathleen~
She was certainly Norma Jean,
for in essence she was always the child.

BloomingRose~
Yes, I'm sure she tired of the spotlight,
but the music played on ...

Marsha~
How wonderful to know that you were an admirer also.

Melissa~
Yes~  Stardom often has a very high price.
Thanks for the reply.

Karilea~
Thank you - it is a tiny little piece that is
quickly tucking itself away in my heart.
I just knew you'd find it and enjoy it.
So pleased to know you did.
