NAKED SOUL SENRYU 5-7-5 Emotions stripped bare leaving soul vulnerable to be raped of heart *By Melissa Honeybee* ~Naked Soul In Pieces~ You came, with a promising smile, a tall, dark and handsome gallant knight upon that proverbial white horse and saved me from a lonely confusion, you gave my heart a reason to pump love through my veins then suddenly, without warning you fell to your hunger, forced me down and stole my womanhood as you ripped my heart from my chest and poured it into your blender, without an ounce of decency or compassion you diced my heart in two slowly yet savagely with the dull, jagged blade as it crushed my aspirations and innocence through cycles of grate and grind, then you stopped for only a breath's passing to throw cubes of ice in and laughed as your finger pressed firmly upon shred to mix my fear thoroughly with the tears as the icy chill pervaded, leaving a heart drained, liquified, you drank of my soul, devoured all of me and when you were through with the taste you wiped your mouth clean closed the lid and left me alone with emotions stripped bare, vulnerable, in pieces to be raped of heart again *By Melissa Honeybee* < !signature--> The beauty of poetry gives my soul wings to fly free within dreams [This message has been edited by Melissa Honeybee (edited 01-08-2001).] |

WOW! Powerful. Solid. Painful. This I truly liked. Definitely your best, as far as I'm concerned. Many accolades; much applause! jwesley |

Melissa, these poems are so full of emotion. . . scary to think of where they came from. . . excellent. . . -------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Elizabeth and jwesley - Thank you! Although not penned from my own experience, I was there to see and feel the emotions that my mom was feeling Sven - I wrote these in honour of my mom's relationship with my father long ago The beauty of poetry gives my soul wings to fly free within dreams |
