she knows not what she wants
she knows not who she is
she knows not to run from love
so she runs straight to his

she talks of needing more
than what I have to give
she speaks of being happy
and learning how to live

she hears when I talk of love
only what she can see
she sees only what I have
and not what we can be

being one that well-understands running from love, now seeing the "what can be" a little too late, this poem touched me. thanks!
