Lay Open the Envelope

one thing as one shan't e'er do
to see only flesh as fair beauty
open this the envelope of me
experience more than you could see
'tis all I should ask of you

sagaciously see my orb of gaiety
and fathom some intimate mystery
witness within the lee of me
this envelope that is for thee
and not for all the world to see

in this envelope seek a multitude of things
and shy erudite wisdom, burning bright
that would for thee as ochroid word shall sing
long and true into the depths of night
see thee what this envelope would bring

that this envelope would envelop thought
of what confidence might be sought
of what indeed this envelope brought
once now that your attention is caught
indeed, 'tis so, t'would it be your lot

to envelop the envelope that carries me
in these the words that you solitarily see

Should we lay open the envelope to experience a tidal wave of treasured personality ...
or should we sprinkle a little of you out at a time to brighten each day forever?

Kari love, this is so wonderful, I can feel the power flowing back to you. If you were icandescent before, what does that make, Ahhhh white heat of the phoenix. Transcending spiraling upward, I will always be there amazed and delighted eternally by the brightness of my sister Phoenix, Persephone!
Wonderful dear heart truly awesome. I know less is more, but when does that ever slow me down.
Utterly brilliant
Take care

Kari,
I loved the poem,...but what the heck is "ochroid" the nearest I could come in my vocabulary is "mob rule" and I know that can't be write, errr rite errr correct. *laughs*
write on, in ochroid song.

Opening the envelope that is you is to open a Pandora's box of wonderful proportions - something  I would be reluctant to do except in a sealed room wherein I could contain the treasures thus released. - I loved the verse formation and rhyme scheme of this ocher colored piece too ~G~ (ochroid - sheesh )

So many times we do not take the time to look inside the envelope to discover what's inside...and much is lost.

Let's open them together and see what envelopes!!
