Pacific I have a secret stash of time of value only to me, a bank of imagery engraved into interiors - framed by mortal fragility. Flashes I have captured dwell in a core of light – a place of innermost truth. Someday, I'll restore them, faded images from my youth. From hills, golden in God's hands, to fallow trees of winter reminders of life, death's reality; while the ocean's siren song ceaselessly calls to me. Learning to live with the ache of love's separation, alienation undermines – stretches across and around the distance it entwines. With hues that outshine the clarity of beryl, a quintessential Celtic soul, Pacific sends serenity in waves that ever roll. Others we embrace so integral to self, carried innate within - free them, in return create the cycle again. © 2001 Corinne Bailey |

Sometimes, Robert, it is more a state of mind than a geographic state. Corinne |

I love this. Very good reading to begin my day with. Can I be your willful breeze, Come to touch, Your heart to ease? |
