Based on the song from Tommy.

See me please, before I disappear
It can bring heart's ease when you're drawing near
I work so hard to go away every single day
But when you simply see me, I know I have to stay
See the real me is my desperate plea

Feel me in my lines of poetry so clear
I need to know you're moved, it can keep me here
I struggle with my feelings it's not a game I play
But when you can feel me, it helps keep pain at bay
Feel me is my plea, and see the real me

Touch me for I'm so alone, with no one that's dear
And isolation burns, with every lonely tear
Immolate, incarcerate, a prison on my way
I need someone to touch me, or love me anyway
Touching I can feel, can make me seem so real

Heal me, my self-medicate, cannot hide the sear
Of my pain filled spirit that lets me disappear
Healing touch your gift to me, to help me through this day
Healing love is what I crave, to show the path, the way
I need a touch of heal, encourage me to feel

See me, feel me, show me grace
That I might walk an easier pace
Touch me, heal, me in life's race
Let me know beauty of love's face
That I may be made real, integrated in appeal

Daniel JD, yeah Tommy had style didn't he.

Sunshine thank you for the light and quote.

would you give praise where none is due

would you, could you, set me free

Kethry love, this is astoundingly perceptive and utterly utterly wonderfully deep. This really moves me, and no love I do not mean from my desk to the canteen! This is really so well written love absolutely truly fabulous.
Did I not say I don't ever lie, and I don't love not ever. (I might bend the truth sometimes but not about poetry love never!)
Absolutely ace, didn't I say, a little re inflation and I start to rise. We could start our own Phoenix group, (A bit like the Bloomsbury Group, but not so bad tempered!)
I can just see everyone looking them up, I could save them all the effort, but I don't want to spoil their enjoyment.

Take care kid

My fellow Phoenix, you wouldn't have like the Bloomsbury Group, Have you ever been to Bloomsbury, well if you haven't don't bother, I don't know what it was like in the early 1900, but now it's ghastly. (There for those who aren't as quick as others that's a clue!)
Now why would I spoil their fun by making it too easy.
Take care kid, stretch those wings of fire and we shall spiral up

Love you for your love and optimism..

Kethry, I read your poem two times and the second time I chose to read it slowly and with pause and I gotta tell you the expression here is soooo touching...
It's not every day a poem read can innocently set the mind to drift to a time of past yet your poem has...
I admire the way you pen of heart and soul it just takes hold of a reader and this one shall go in2 my library...
A very captivating write sweetie thank you

Nate,
thanks for the critique of my work. I'm glad you liked it, sometimes I get lost in the flow of the words and forget about the time and cadence. Thanks for reminding me that they too are important.

Coco,
that you included this in your library is an honour indeed.

Be well, you're swell
