I am both happy and depressed I wonder if the middle is compressed I hear a voice out of the past I see my mother for the last I want to be with her at rest I am both happy and depressed I pretend to always have my humor I feel depression and its tumor I touch upon a poetic king I worry just about everything I cry over the matters that I wrest I am both happy and depressed I understand the ups and downs I say there is no middle ground I dream of finding an inner peace I try not dwell of death's release I hope I've not made you more stressed I am both happy and depressed |

no, of course you have not made me stressed...i related to the line "i am both happy and depressed" and wonder how come we are able to survive at all with such contradictory emotions... |
