Oh! So Beautiful.

Stars in the night
Crisp morning breeze
Dew on the lawn

Sunset from a mountain top
Eagles soaring high above
Echoes never ending

Hair wet from rainforests
Lush undergrowth, streams of freshwater
Mossy, slippery rocks

Waves from winds afar
Beaches of holiday dreams
Children running about

Warmth of wood burning
Cuddled up with cup of hot soup
Sleeping to the sounds of owls

Oh! So beautiful
The simple things
Earth's gift to all.

Hey welcome back.  So nice to see you posting again and I will catch up myself.  The simple things in life always give us the most happiness and peace in the long run and they for sure are the ones that stick in the memory more often.  I for one love the beauty of nature that was gifted to us and you have done that gift much justice in this piece.

Yes, the simplest things in life are the most beautiful, by far! Lovely poem, Daniel!

Marge,
Thank you, our earth is so very important, and at times some of us forget its beauty.

No one enjoys nature as I do, well nearly no one.  I agree 100%!!

Kathleen,
Nature is you and I, taking care of its importance, loving it, and allowing it to continue its processes 'naturally'. Thank you for your wonderful reply.
