Virginia Salter partly cloudy that’s what they said well, we’ve the cloudy and they’ve the partly I think it’s back to bed I need some sunshine I need it fast this gloom of day it must not last the hour’s long and I am short to face this time I’ve strong retort but, then, again I must admit it’s better than a sky that spits when I need to walk it’s for my health a thriving body is one’s true wealth so somewhere deep where sunshine creeps down in my heart I’ll find a spark to face this day with wondrous glee the sky’s no help it’s up to me! © January 2, 2001 |
