When sorry is like spaghetti

when sorry is like spaghetti
I can not stand the word
just rolls off your lips
to ears that never heard

for if you really meant them
the deed would not be done again
but here you go, one more time
reacting the same old sin

sometimes you never even say it
but I am to still forgive
then you wonder why, I have no love
how was it suppose to live

one too many bruises
inside this heart of mine
oops, here you go again
I'm sorry's ...it's just a line

so when you say I'm sorry
please remember this
I'm sorry has become spaghetti
please add that to your list

guess i owe u a lot of spaghetti......
but then a again i already have.....
but, the words are never listen to....
because, why say the words when.....

never once forgiven....

So for the world to see
for i say i am Sorry,
and not Spaghetti....

I like the poem and Wow! I have thought the thoughts about the words "I'm sorry" being too easily and thoughtlessly said by some. Good thing we're told to forgive 70 times 7 times.

However, spaghetti is one of my favorite foods, so I can't put I'm sorry's there myself. Goodness, I guess I'm going to have to have my leftover spaghetti for breakfast. It's so hard for me to think of spaghetti and not become ravenous.

This is so very true for some, I feel that to say sorry should have weightyness to it, I always tell my girls to not use the word unless they really plan to follow through with the action, I loved your work here and look forward to more, welcome to passions.

good poem but this seems to be a personal thing between you and bslicker, maybe you need to have Sorry-o's for breakfast instead of Cheerios
