My Heart Isn't Really In Love With You < !signature-->Ripples in the water, currents in the stream Ever flowing motion insubstantial as a dream Clouds are water vapour flowing over the sky Dreams are nights' images that take me flying high Rainbows are lights refraction seen through a mist And this isn't really heaven, it's nothing just a kiss Stars are not magic they don't shine for you They're only suns' burning in space, this is true The rain doesn't beat out the rhythm of my heart And if you don't look my way then I won't fall apart Unicorns only live in fairy tales they're not real And magic doesn't exist its not magic I can feel The sunshine doesn't really play across my hips It's not special when I feel you touch my lips The lightening flash doesn't inscribe your name My blood doesn't turn itself into liquid flame Angels fly above doing what it is they should do And my heart really isn't at all in love with you Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning [This message has been edited by Marsha (edited 12-30-2000).] |

excellent poem which speaks for many, including self but when the significant other of a love will not let go, the other one tends to have these very feelings of wanting out of the relationship yet never gaining that freedom |

Kethry love, I've had it, it's true that the operation was performed in less than ideal conditions, no anaesthesia, bent rusty spoon instead of a scalpel, and in a muddy field instead of the aseptic conditions of a hospital theatre, but I'm fine. (Actually they sound better conditions than our hospital, it's only a joke people, our hospital isn't that bad.
