Message for LJA. In case you though I'd lost the plot, please note that Kethry "dressed" the wounds and "wore you out". Who's crying now!The titans all were standing They all were warriors strong Some of them remained upstanding Some were weary of the throng The victim stood alone and he Exhausted to the core Although he'd won small victory His heart was pricked and sore He looked around, his former friends Were bleeding with deep hurt The victim chose to make amends And bowed his head unto the dirt Apologies gave freely up No more would he declaim The poets swill which they all sup Their tastes in write or clothes or fame Shoulder now to shoulder The Titans stood as one To plead the case before the emperor Before the day was done With one voice, with one accord They argued round the victim's fate Their right to reach the emperor, lord Before he made the victor's wait Their argument persuasive In poetry and in song The emperor's mind evasive But still he chose to go along He raised his hands in wonder Lifted his thumbs high "No more this world be torn asunder By poetic challenge, or Titans cry" Religion is for people frightened about going to hell - Spirituality is for people who have been there.
